With new suitcases on the horizon, Big Daddy and I began discussing the fact that the passports are becoming slightly dog-eared (not really…he’s used his once) and wouldn’t it be cool to have some passport covers. I’ve had an Amazon gift certificate that’s been burning a hole in my pocket, so I went over to Amazon to peruse the passport covers. While I really covet the Kate Spade passport cover, I have other big Kate Spade plans, so I decided to do the budget thing. I got Big Daddy and I these passport covers:
I got him the burgundy one, and I got the *surprise* pink one. They were $15.95 each and are leather. I’m giving BD his for his birthday later this month.

I Want Some Good Stuff
I have been shopping for travel items for my next few trips which are,
1: Trip to Squaw Valley on August 1-3 for work related festivities
2: Trip to Boston and cruise to Bermuda with best friend and our mates From August 4-12
3; Trip to Zihuatanejo for sister’s wedding Oct 31-November 6
Well with an itinerary like that, who wouldn’t need some new items?
First and most importantly, a new suitcase is in order. The one I have now was a cute pink number. After one trip it got filthy. Plus its teeny tiny. So Here’s my new suitcase: 
PINK CAMO!! I ordered Big Daddy the black and gray camo. We will be the dorky matching husband and wife. What’s next, bowling shirts or windbreakers? The suitcase was $89, made by Jansport, and I found it at www.ebags.com. It is a 27 incher and should do me just fine. Not sure how I will maneuver it around the streets of Boston until I get on the cruise ship, but that’s what Big Daddy is for, right?
